Djembe-L:
a moderated global mail list dedicated to the
ongoing development and maintenance of a knowledge base regarding the musical culture of
West Africa, including the diaspora. Emphasis is upon the countries of Mali, Burkina Faso,
Guinea, and Côte d'Ivoire. This emphasis is to follow primarily the music of the djembe,
as supported by chant, song, and dance. All are welcomed to join. Much information is discussed from how to
play the djembe to how to build one.

Rhythm Healing: This
List is for the specific reason of discussing Rhythm & Vibration healing. Subjects in
any area directly related to this are always welcome, e.g Drumming, Didgeridoo,
Crystals,Tibetan singing bowls etc. Rhythm is one of the deepest mysteries of the
universe. Science has taught us that we live in a rhythmscape in which everything is
pulsing in time with everything else. Every atom, every planet, every star is vibrating in
a complex dance. We as humans vibrate too, and when we become aware that we are giving out
and taking in vibration, is when the deepest of healing happens . It is through discussing
sharing ideas, experiences etc ,that this list aims to help, and give people a better and
